In order to register for the course U04L4102, the student must have successfully completed the course U04L3102.

It is not possible to register for the course U04L3102 if the student is concurrently registered for or has previously completed the course 32BL-P-EN31-01 (mutually exclusive courses).

The requirement for course U04L3102 can be fulfilled by substitution with the course 32BL-P-EN31-01.

The course is suitable for students of bachelor managerial studies. Seminars cover Business Terminology and Communication Skills as well as grammar. The course focuses on developing language skills - reading, writing, speaking and listening, on understanding and orientation in a wide-range of topics, on strengthening and improving grammar. All interconnected language skills are submitted to the goal of developing the required level needed for students' professional life.


Active participation in class, regular attendance (combined with attendance in the second foreign language classes), regular submitting of assignments, credit test.

The same requirements also apply to students who participate in professional internships in companies during the semester. Attendance is excused during the internship.

Study Objective:

This subject is aimed at developing and strengthening language skills, at understanding the basic professional terminology in the field of economics and at improving oral and written communication.
