Cíl tohoto kurzu není zvýšit studentovu úroveň angličtiny, ale zlepšit dovednosti v oblasti akademického psaní. Tento kurz není příležitost pro studenty nechat si zkontrolovat či opravit své texty - cílem tohoto kurzu je, aby byl student schopen psát (lépe) anglicky na akademické úrovni. Předpokládaná úroveň angličtiny na začátku kurzu je B2-Upper-Intermediate. Pokud je stávající úroveň angličtiny studenta příliš nízká, musí si student své znalosti samostatně zlepšit (mimo tento kurz). Pravidelným psaním v angličtině během tohoto kurzu si studenti přirozeně zvýší svou úroveň angličtiny.
