Synopsis:

The course focuses on the basics of creating electronic documentation with an emphasis on creating larger-scale technical reports, typically final university theses. Students will gain knowledge of the basics of typography and learn to create the text of a technical report in the LaTeX system, specifically in the LaTeX template FIT for final theses. Last but not least, students will become familiar with the issue of citing literary sources according to the citation standard ČSN ISO 690.

Requirements:

The course focuses on the basics of creating electronic documentation with an emphasis on creating larger-scale technical reports, typically final university theses. Students will gain knowledge of the basics of typography and learn to create the text of a technical report in the LaTeX system, specifically in the LaTeX template FIT for final theses. Last but not least, students will become familiar with the issue of citing literary sources according to the citation standard ČSN ISO 690. The course ends with a credit.

The follow-up course is BI-TDP2. However, both courses, BI-TDP and BI-TDP2, can be taken in the same semester.

Study Objective:
