The course is focused on the basics of creating electronic documentation with emphasis on the creation of technical reports of a larger scope, typically final university theses. Students learn to create text of a technical report in the LaTeX system, process an electronic presentation using the LaTeX Beamer system, and practically present it in front of classmates and the teacher. The course is intended primarily for those students who have chosen the topic of their bachelor's thesis or will choose it within the first 14 days of teaching. Within the exercises of the course, an active approach to the creation of individual parts of the bachelor's thesis is assumed.
- Requirements:

The course BI-TDP is closely related to the bachelor's thesis. The condition for enrolling in the course is the chosen topic of the bachelor's thesis. Selected seminars will be devoted to the creation of individual parts of the bachelor's thesis. The course ends with a graded credit.
- Syllabus of lectures:

1. Introduction to the presentation of technical projects.
2. Introduction to typography.
3. Typesetting in the LaTeX system, template of the bachelor's thesis at FIT CTU.
4. Bachelor's thesis - formulation of the assignment, structure and formal arrangement of the bachelor's thesis, dean's guidelines, typography, language of the thesis.
5. Citation ethics, bibliographic citations of documents according to ČSN ISO 690.
6. Electronic information systems in the CTU network - invited lecture.
7. Principles of presentation.
8. Principles of creation of an electronic presentation.
9. Experience from media practice and work with the public - invited lecture.
10. [2] Documentation of software projects.
11. Process of final state exams, presentation of bachelor thesis.
12. Analysis of submitted bachelor's theses and position reports.
