Synopsis:

Modernization and development of railway infrastructure in Czech Republic. Arrangement of railway networks and junctions. Suburban railway services. Network configuration and operation of metro systems. Network configuration and operation of tram systems. Special thematic lectures (rail transport in selected countries / regions).

Requirements:

Knowledge of railway operation and of projection, parameters and construction of railway lines and stations and lines of urban rail transport.

Description and analysis of selected systems of rail transport with specific examples of optimal and inappropriate rail infrastructure solutions and service organizations.
