Basic ways of traffic prognosis, traffic prognosis for large area (calculation of future traffic volumes, calculation of future traffic volumes between areas (analogical and synthetic methods, modal split, traffic distribution to road network). Shock wave in traffic flow. Service levels and their traffic volumes. Acceleration noise.

Introducing with different ways of prediction of future traffic volumes (future traffic volumes of moving vehicles on the road network or future necessary number of parking places etc.), explanation of reasons of changes in traffic flow characteristics, description and prognosis of occasional variations of traffic flow characteristics.
