Synopsis:

The content of the subject is the examination according to the plan of studies.

Requirements:

The exam includes 3 theoretical questions, with the final grade being a weighted average of the grade from the oral theoretical part and the grade based on the number of points from the assessment tests in the 02MECH course during the semester.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Kinematics. Tangential and normal acceleration. Composition of motions.

2. Newton's laws, force, impulse, work, power, energy.

3. One-dimensional motion. Harmonic oscillator.

4. Resonance. Mathematical pendulum.

5. Motion in a central field. Kepler's problem.

6. Non-inertial system, inertial forces.

7. Momentum theorems, conservation laws.

8. Two-body problem, particle collisions and scattering.

9. Rigid body, moment of inertia.

10. Flywheels, Euler's equations

11. Fundamentals of continuum mechanics.

12. Elasticity, Hooke's law.

13. Equilibrium and motion of fluids, sound propagation.
