Synopsis:

Design of concrete elements under stress combinations, bearing capacity of slender pressed elements, bearing capacity in punching and twisting. Analysis of the behavior of reinforced concrete elements and structures. Design process. Static action, choice and application of calculation models and methods, procedures of simplified methods and principles of reinforcement of individual types of structures - ceiling slabs, frames, walls, stairs, wall beams, basement and retaining walls, foundations. Precast structures.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of structural mechanics required. Knowledge of methods for determining internal forces on basic static diagrams with basic types of loads.

Plus knowledge from subject 133BZA1 - basic principles of design and assessment of reinforcement. Reinforcement of basic concrete elements.

Syllabus of lectures:

The most necessary informations that are needed for static analysis in structure design - from plain concrete and reinforced concrete.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Task 1 - one way bearing monolithic slab

Task 2 - frame, design of columns

Task 3 - two ways bearing monolithic slab

Task 4 - locally supported slab, pushing

Task 5 - foot

Study Objective:

The course is intended to be an aid for students not only in the basic courses of the department of concrete structures, but also to help students in the next stages of their studies. That is, for projects, bachelor's and diploma theses.
