Students must be prepared for each lesson. This means that they must have the necessary materials with them each week, including pen, paper and class materials or bring a notebook/tablet to access them electronically. Independent completion and timely submission of all written assignments is also expected.
The zápočet will be based on the material covered throughout the semester. The exercises will closely reflect those practised during the lessons, including listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar, and short writing tasks. Without the express permission of the instructor, students may not use any aids during the test.
A minimum of 60% is required to pass. If unsuccessful, students will be offered a second attempt, with a pass mark of 70%. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the need to retake the course from the beginning.
