It is a condition for enrolment in course 04XSZ3 that the student must have received credit for the course 04XSZ2 in a previous semester

Synopsis:

The course is based on course SZ2, and develops the student´s vocabulary and grammar structure. The course covers realia (history and culture) of the Spanish-speaking countries, mainly of Spain. It pays attention to further grammar topics (pretérito perfecto, pretérito indefinido, pretérito imperfecto, the gerund and the imperative). It includes written and oral communication on a given general topic, for which the student is trained by reading texts or listening to them.

Requirements:

Student will have passed semester test of course SZ2.

The course is run as a series of seminars following the topics and scope of the syllabus mentioned above.

Study Objective:

Knowledge:

Knowledge of morphology, lexis and syntax at the level appropriate to the course and their application in everyday communication.

Skills:

To make use of acquired knowledge and skills to understand short reports, letters, to use Spanish in everyday well known situations, to take short notes, to write a short personal letter and letter of thanks.
