Synopsis:

The course builds on the subjects General Pedagogy and General Didactics and applies the acquired knowledge to didactics in the field of informatics and related technologies. The student will get acquainted with the ways of theoretical teaching of information technologies and in connection with their practical practice and verification of knowledge.

Requirements:
Syllabus of lectures:

1.Concept of computer science teaching at secondary school, framework educational programme, thematic plans.

2.Aims of computer science teaching at secondary school, computer literacy,

3.teaching process: preparation of the lesson, organization of the lesson, technical and software means to support the lesson

4.Analysis of the lesson (hospitalization or own lesson)

5.Teaching theory

6.Teaching practical skills

7.Creation of teaching materials

8.Online teaching

9.Teaching programming theory and practical examples/programs,

10.Development and comparison of programming languages, methodology of program evaluation (written papers).

11.Knowledge verification types of tests and their preparation, means to support the execution of tests, evaluation of results.

12.Activation methods in computer science teaching

13.Working with talented pupils programming competitions, testing IT skills

Syllabus of tutorials:

The exercises develop the content of lectures with a didactic dimension. Different approaches are discussed, students prepare presentations/microoutputs according to the topic and present them and evaluate each other in the following lesson.

Study Objective:

Mastering the area of informatics knowledge taught in secondary schools in the sense that the student has sufficient insight, understands the connections between the individual parts and can use this knowledge not only for teaching and preparation of teaching materials, but also for the creation of school educational programs and thematic plans.
