The preparatory week is intended for incoming bachelor's students. It includes an introduction to the organizational requirements of university studies and introductory lectures for the first semester.

1. Introductory overview of the higher education system in the Czech Republic and at CTU.
2. Method and organization of studies at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.
3. Obligations and electives within the framework of studies.
4. Computer networks.
5. Organization of language teaching.
6. Student organizations.
7. Commencement of teaching in mathematics and physics.
8. Motivational lectures by specialist departments.
9. Elective courses of the first semester.

Students will gain an overview of the organization of studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, accommodation, transportation and the information system of the Czech Technical University in Prague.
