Synopsis:

The aim of the course in connection with the theoretical knowledge of the subject managerial psychology is the practice of communication and managerial skills related to the successful implementation of managerial practice. Students are aware of the course of the communication process and techniques that lead to successful dialogue and achievement of goals, as well as acquire the skills of acting in conflict situations and negotiations. The course is also focused on successful self-presentation. In the part focused on managerial skills, students will acquire basic skills in conducting key interviews with subordinates and colleagues. Emphasis is placed on ensuring that students use the acquired skills in practice and get feedback on their actions.

Requirements:

Credit: 70% participation in seminars, active involvement in model situations, presentation of two interviews in front of the group with feedback

Exam: final knowledge test via Moodle

1. Communication: significance and the communication process.

2. Theoris of communication

3. Communication barriers

4. Verbal and nonverbal communication

5. Interaction styles: assertiveness, aggression, passivity, manipulation

6. Transactional analysis

7. Active listening

8. Types of interviews and dialogues by nature and purpose

9. Recruitment and selection interview

10. Appraisal and motivational interview

11. Coaching interviews

12. Conducting and facilitating meetings

13. Conflict and emotion management

1. Discuss in a group to find the principles of positive communication

2. Non-verbal communication, its meaning, types

3. Training in assertive techniques

4. Monologue x dialogue. Practicing communication skills by asking questions

5. Active listening training

6. Training in passing on information and persuasion

7. Negotiation training

8. Training of managerial interviews

9. Conflict management training

10. Meeting management training

Study Objective:

The aim of the course is the development and training of communication and management skills, which are a prerequisite for success in management practice
