- Synopsis:

The course is designed as a practical guide to personal resource management for educators. The objective is to provide students with diagnostic tools for monitoring their own psychological load and practical skills to maintain long-term professional performance. Students will learn to analyze specific stressors (laboratory work, safety risks, digital overload) and apply evidence-based stress regulation techniques. The final output of the course is an individual protocol for pedagogical practice.

- Study Objective:

To equip students with a theoretical framework and practical competencies in the field of mental health care. Students will be able to:
1. Knowledge: Define and classify basic concepts of mental hygiene, salutogenesis, and psychohygiene in the context of pedagogical work. Explain the etiopathogenesis of stress, including the physiological and psychological mechanisms of the stress response. Identify the symptoms and stages of burnout syndrome and understand the risk factors specific to the profession of vocational subjects teacher. Interpret the connections between lifestyle, the quality of interpersonal relationships, and long-term psychological stability.
2. Skills: Perform self-diagnosis and self-reflection of their current psychological state and identify risk moments in both professional and personal life. Apply selected techniques (e.g., autogenic training, mindfulness techniques, cognitive restructuring) as part of prevention. Utilize the principles of assertive communication and effective conflict resolution to maintain a constructive climate in teaching. Develop an individual personal care plan for practice.
3. Attitudes and Values: Perceive mental health as a key professional competence, not merely as a private matter of the individual. Adopt a proactive attitude toward their own mental development and the prevention of psychological disorders. Reflect on the ethical aspects of mental hygiene in relation to responsibility for students and the quality of the educational process.
