Synopsis:

Teachers and students will jointly seek appropriate solutions for specific situations of pedagogical practice and effective solutions to the impact of dynamic changes in contemporary education. In particular, the course builds on the purposeful construction of a safe space to reflect on one's own disposition to learn, to share and process emotions and challenging topics from practice, including the presentation and communication of students' first pedagogical outcomes. Practices included: guided discussion, feedback interviews, brainstorming, psychosocial training methods.

Requirements:

Student portfolio (creating a portfolio and making at least one feedback record, including presentation of work).

Syllabus of lectures:

The students themselves can provide suggestions for the content of the course, e.g.: assumptions of professional reasoning, relationships of individual actors of the teaching process (teacher-student, teacher-parent, teacher-colleague, teacher-management), internalisation of one's own professional roles, interpersonal and intrapersonal conflicts and their resolution, formation of the teacher's authority, management of emotional load, (stress, fear of teacher's responsibility, burnout syndrome), psychohygiene in teacher's work.

Study Objective:

The aim of the course is to develop the professional skills of the teacher through training in appropriate teaching practices (pedagogical, didactic, psychological aspects).
