Synopsis:

The course Technology for smart cities introduces students to the cross-cutting issues of so-called smart cities, the preparation of the Smart City concept and its planning and indicators.

Requirements:

Ability to study foreign sources.

Basic overview of geographical realities.

Knowledge of Smart City principles and related topics.

Active participation in exercises, delivery of required outputs.

The course ends with an exam.

The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written part is based on the materials provided during the lectures, it is a test with open questions, a total of 20 questions of 5 points each. The maximum is 100 points, while at least 60 points must be obtained to successfully master this part.

The oral part of the exam further analyzes and specifies the answers to the questions from the test.

Completion of the subject will enable competent participation in the preparation of Smart City projects in various roles - planning, participation, commissioning and control.
