Aircraft structural and conceptual design types - definitions and basic knowledge of the problem. Development of requirements, aircraft definitions and categorisation. Aircraft loadings. Systems of primary and secondary airframe structure. Airframe and propulsion unit. Lectures are devoted to aeroplane topics.

To gain of essential overview in the area of aircraft technology and categorization of aircraft. To prepare students for technical decision-making relevant to questions of aircraft operational technology for civil air operators and organisations of civil aviation. Knowledge of this subject provides basic orientation in aircraft structural design.
