- Synopsis:
-
The course is focused on introduction to complicated and multidisciplinary field of safety and security of nuclear installations and forensics analysis of nuclear materials. All lectures are instructions to various disciplines which students can study in 16 courses from B-group. The first part of the course is dedicated to nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear installations and introduction to safe operation of nuclear installations. The second part deals with sources of ionisation radiation, dosimetry and radiation protection, and detection systems for measurement of ionising radiation and identification of sources. The third part of the course is dedicated to nuclear and radioanalytical chemistry, nuclear forensics, and analytical methods for nuclear forensics analysis. The last part of the course is focused on introduction to cyber security and information security.
