The subject is aimed at a detailed introduction to the methods of evaluating the quality of the railway tracks and its components. Emphasis is placed on experimental materials, building elements and construction verification and classification of detected defects. Part of the education is the performance of experimental measurements in laboratory conditions and on the railway line, evaluation of the results and discussion of them.

- Study Objective:

The aim is to acquaint doctoral students with current methods of experimental verification of materials and constructions of railway structures. The study has a combined form of lectures, seminars and laboratory practices. The result of the study is the presentation of a written seminar paper and its defense associated with the exam.
