Synopsis:

The Revit building project computer program is built specifically for Building Information Modelling (BIM) and makes it easy for designers and construction professionals to develop initial ideas from concept to implementation through a coordinated and consistent model-based approach. Revit is a standalone application with features for architectural design, HVAC design, structural design and construction.

Requirements:

Compulsory and active participation in class, maximum 3 excused absences.

Handing in the semester work on time.

Syllabus of tutorials:

1. Information about the subject, general information about BIM (Building Information Modeling)

2. - 9. Teaching in the form of gradual development of knowledge of working with Revit - terrain, mass model, presentation of the mass model, structural modelling, building structures, modifications of structures, structural elements and drawings

10. - 13. Semester work - independent work with consultations on a project in Revit

Study Objective:

Student - prospective architect or civil engineer can use software effectively for design purposes, with required outputs.
