Synopsis:

Basics of AutoCAD - working with files, file types, compatibility, user interface, control, drawing, grips, tracing, levels, measurements, dimensions, blocks, tables, external references, working with rasters, auxiliary commands.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Introduction, working with files, file types, compatibility. User environment, control (mouse, keyboard, command line, dialogs). Entering coordinates and measures, drawing tools.

2. Drawing (line, arc, circle, rectangle, polygon, ring, ellipse, elliptic arc, spline, point). Display control (zoom, views, hawk eye, tools).

3. Grips (types, permanent and prescribed, settings). Trace.

Properties of objects (settings, modifications, display). Levels (organization and administration).

4. Text (style, text editor, modification). Modifications (create selection set, shift, copy, mirror, ., array).

5. Curve (creation, modification). Multiline (creation, modification).

6. Hatching (creation, modification). Measurement (coordinates, distance, area).

7. Dimensioning (style, dimensions, modifications and updates, multilinks).

8. Blocks (principle, division, creation, editing).

9. Tables (creation, styles, connections).

10. External references. Working with rasters. Auxiliary commands.

11. Comprehensive practice I - building object

12. Complex practice II - linear object

13. Credit test

Syllabus of tutorials:

The first half of the exercise is an explanation and the second half is practice of the given material.
