Synopsis:

The teaching of the subject Project management 2 is focused on the acquisition of project management methods in the implementation of large-scale technological constructions and constructions of transport infrastructure. The curriculum is based on the classical theory of project management according to the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) and its application to the construction project management manuals of major construction companies (Best Practice).

Detailed attention is paid to the main processes of project management (scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, risk and procurement management). The procedural management of construction projects is supplemented by the current issue of claims management and crisis management of construction projects.

4. Time management of technological constructions

5. Cost and resource management in transport infrastructure projects

6. Road quality management system according to the methodology of the ŘSD

7. Management of human resources in large projects

8. Management of internal and external communication

9. Risk management of technological constructions

10. Purchase management

11. Management of claims

12. Methodology for quantifying financial claims according to SFDI

13. Crisis management of construction projects

Syllabus of tutorials:

Students will work in groups to solve activities during the organization of the construction of the practice project. The result will be a project management manual in a construction company in the form of a semester paper.

Study Objective:

Adoption of managerial activities in the implementation phase of the construction project from the point of view of the general construction contractor.
