Synopsis:

Binocular vision conditions. Strabismus - extraocular muscles. Heterophoria, heterotrophia. Developments of binocular movement, binocular vision. Anomalous retinal correspondence, eccentric fixation. Determination of angle of deviation. Goals of treatment. Principles of therapy of strabismus - use of prisms, decentration of glasses. Pleoptics, orthoptics.

4. Examination of binocular vision

5. Examination of divergence and determination of strabismus type

6. Precise determination of strabismus type and plan of treatment

7. Pleoptics

8. Conservative techniques in therapy of strabismus

9. Chirurgical treatment

10. Extraocular muscles

11. Classification of strabismus

Subject matter of excersises follows lectures.

Study Objective:

Theoretical knowledge of binocular vision in practical use.

Instructions about making corrective aids for eye exercises for heterophoria.
