- Synopsis:

The theme of the studio is a small-scale building with one operating circuit in a specific environment.
It is a building of a common type of civic amenity of a smaller size. An integral part of the brief is the associated outdoor public space.

[1 - 3] Analysis of the assignment, gathering information from the field of typology / legislative and standard requirements, elaboration (collection and study) of research with analysis of operation, typology and design related to the assignment, with own commentary.
[4 - 6] Concept development / conceptual models and sketches, search for layout, spatial and structural links, verification of scale and proportions of the building in perspective sketches and working models, talks, lectures, discussions, excursions, studio presentation of the final building concept - explanation of the proposed conceptual and spatial layout of the building, functional links, solution of the situation, structural and structural concept.
[7 - 9] Conversion of concept into design: form, function, operation, construction, technology, material, details.
[10 - 13] Finalizing the solution - architectural, material and colour solution, structural and technical solution/studio presentation, work in graphic programs, preparation of the final study into presentation form.

Understanding and relating to the context of the site of the task, learning the principles of operational and layout design of a small civil building. Ability to produce a design presentation at the architectural study stage.

Decree No. 501/2006 Coll., on general requirements for the use of the territory, Decree No. 268/2009 Coll., on technical requirements for buildings, Regulation No. 10/2016 (Prague building regulations), Decree No. 499/2006 Coll., on documentation of buildings), laws (especially Act No. 183/2006 Coll., the Act on spatial planning and building regulations). Publication Design of buildings (Ernst Neufert).
