BIM in construction, basic documents (CDE, BEP), data standard (SNIM), BIM protocol

BIM and legislation in the Czech Republic, BIM and its use in the world

Geometric model of construction, input data without modelling - scanning, point clouds, mixed reality

N-D models and BIM (4D surveys and valuations, 5D scheduling, higher order n-D models)

Working with building information model, documentation management systems in a common data environment

BIM and quality control, submodel and linked model, model data control, spatial coordination of documentation

Quality management and tools, construction operation management, quality control on BIM models, IT tools

Modelling and simulation and their use in the BIM model, environmental and health and safety plans, ,

Machine control using BIM models, industrialisation and prefabrication using 3D construction model

Acceptance and data transfer using information models, facility management

Logistics and subcontractor management in a BIM environment, construction supply and supply chain management

Industrialization and prefabrication using 3D models

Digitalisation trends in the construction industry, software

Requirements:

Submission of work by the prescribed deadline and to the prescribed extent (see Teams).

Compulsory attendance in class, maximum 2 unexcused absences.

Ongoing consultation of work and checking during the course.

The above requirements are necessary but not sufficient conditions for successful completion of the course.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. BIM in construction, basic documents (CDE, BEP), data standard (SNIM), BIM protocol

2. BIM and legislation in the Czech Republic, BIM and its use in the world and in the Czech Republic

3. Geometric model of construction, input data without modelling - scanning, point clouds, mixed reality

4. N-D models and BIM (4D dimensions and valuation, 5D scheduling, higher order n-D models)

5. Working with building information model in BIM environment, documentation management systems in a common data environment

1. Introduction to BIM in the preparation, implementation and operation of buildings. Introduction to sample models. Specifics of modelling civil engineering in Autodesk Revit in relation to 126BIM1.

2. 3D BIM - Creating BIM models of BTI in Autodesk Revit

3. BIM modeling issues in the preparation, implementation and operation of buildings.

4. Autodesk Navisworks Manage.

5. Orientation and model search. Creating selection sets in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.

6. Checking for clashes using Clash Detective in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.

7. Check for clashes using Clash Detective in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.

8. 4D BIM - Options for linking BIM models to the schedule using Timeliner in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.

9. 4D BIM - Options for linking BIM models to the schedule using Timeliner in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.

10. 5D BIM - Creating a bill of quantities in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.

11. 5D BIM - Creating a Bill of Materials in Autodesk Navisworks Manage.

12. Creating a model using reverse photogrammetry in Autodesk ReCap Photo.

13. Consultation + Reserve.

Study Objective:

To familiarize students with current IT tools used in the design and implementation of buildings and the latest trends in their development
