Synopsis:

Documentation Jeppesen. IFR approach segments. Precision approach ILS/PAR, MLS. Low Visibility Operation (LVO). Non precision approach - ILS without GP, VOR/DME, NDB and SRA. Airport's operational minima. Circuit approach. Holding patterns, SID and STAR. GNSS approach. Altimeter setting procedures. IFR flight procedures. RNAV approach procedures and other operation. CDFA procedures and principles of increasing airspace capacity.

Requirements:

Attendance - 2 absences per semester allowed

Homework from exercises - submission of the following exercises (1 week)

Semester work - submission one week before the credit week

Completion of the course - credit / exam test. Open answers to 3 questions

Study Objective:

Improvement of theoretical knowledge of the operational and operator's procedures, processes and flights in IFR conditions at various minimums. Ensure university experts prepared to work with the airlines.
