Garant předmětu:
Šárka Šilarová
Lecturer:
Pavel Kopecký, Šárka Šilarová
Tutor:
Malila Noori, Šárka Šilarová
Supervisor:
Department of Architectural Engineering
Synopsis:

Construction principles of the design of roof coverings for flat, sloping and steep roofs. The design of roof coverings in terms of requirements: building physical, waterproofing, operational, static, fire, acoustic, biological, chemical, lifetime and recycling. Principles of design of additional elements and details of roof coverings of flat, sloping and steep roofs based on the stated requirements and given boundary conditions. Designing and the ability to select suitable assembly structures based on the theories of design principles and the principles of solving individual groups of elements from the area of assembly structures. This involves the creation of insulation systems, windows and doors, internal dividing walls, floors and floor structures and their details.

Requirements:

SF 1

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Packaging structures - functions, terminology, general solution principles, requirements, standards and regulations

2 Single-skin flat roofs - design principles, construction-physical analysis, material and construction variants, construction details

3. Double-skinned and light flat roofs - material and structural composition variants - structural details.

4 Operational and green roofs - structural physical analysis and material and structural variants - structural details

5. Pitched roofs - design principles of pitched and steep roof structures - solutions for additional attic insulation

6. Pitched roofs - Principles of design of additional elements and details of roof coverings of pitched and steep roofs

7. Insulation systems - contact - design principles and design principles

8. Insulation systems - structural solution of double-layer insulation systems, material and construction variants

9. Theory of creation of hole fillings - functional and connecting joint - prerequisites for maintaining properties in the built-in state

10. Floors - functional requirements for structural creation, material solutions, basic details.

11. Suspended ceilings, partitions - functional requirements for construction, material solutions, basic details.

12. Light perimeter cladding - systems of modular and frame facades, pre-set and built-in, creation of details.

13. Syllabus summary, revision and questions

Syllabus of tutorials:

1. Assignment of flat and pitched roof tasks - Design and assessment of the composition of a flat roof covering

2. Design and assessment of the composition of the flat roof covering (thermal technology, stability, drainage), Floor plan + section

3. Details, technical report

4. Design and assessment of the composition of the sloping roof covering.

5. Design and assessment of the composition of the roof covering (thermal technology, stability, drainage), Floor plan + section

6. Details, technical report

7. Submission of flat and pitched roof tasks Task assignment - Design and assessment of the perimeter shell

8. Design and assessment of the perimeter shell (thermal technology, stability). Details, technical report.

9. Selection and installation of hole filling, details and technical report.

10. Design and assessment of two variants of partitions (structural and physical assessment)

11. Design and assessment of two floors (structural and physical assessment)

12. Submission of tasks – perimeter shell, hole filling, floor and crossbar

Study Objective:

The student will be able to perform building physical and structural analysis and design of flat roofs, floors, partitions, envelope wall structures and hole fillings.
