Synopsis:

The subject is aimed on the basis of the design of steel and timber structures and their construction. Subject increases the knowledge the previous subject aimed on the basic design of elementary structural members.

Requirements:

It is obligatory to pass the subject 133NNK.

Syllabus of lectures:

Basis of the design of steel structures, steel halls, multi-storey building system, cable and membrane structures, high strength steel, connections in steel and timber structures, wood as a material for buildings, timber beams, roofs, multi-storey timber frames.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Project of the warehouse hall with steel columns and laminated timber girders.

Study Objective:

Ability to apply knowledge in the design and construction of steel and timber structures aimed on the perfomed structures and mistakes in projects or constructions.
