Basic types of computer architectures, von Neumann's model, chained architecture, processor field, close and free system coupling, systolic systems, parallel systems classification. Software level of parallelism. Super-computers and mini super-computers. Transputers, their architecture, applicability, instruction grouping. Basic features of RISC architectures. Massive parallel architectures and symmetrical multiprocessing.
