The subject acquaints students with networks of the future and determines the most distinct development trends in the telecommunication area in consideration of pertinent legislative and technical ensuring of multimedial and telecommunication services offer.

2.Development trends in telecommunication, fixed networks, hierarchy, protocols in a fixed network.
3.Key trends influencing concurrent telecommunication resort, technological convergence, customer, economic activity virtualization, mobile networks, generation development.
4.Interconnection conditions, methods and model in Europe and around world, costs oriented methods, benchmarking.
5.Number portability, distributed system, system with a central user database administration.
6.Electronic media and telecommunication services, digital television, technological convergency.
7.Telecommunication and medial policy in the Czech Republic.
