Requirements:

Fundfamentals of the solid state physics and theory of the electromagnetic field with relevant mathematical background, fundamentals of the e-communications systems, network topologies and positioning of the RM OSI layers in e-communications systems.

Study Objective:

Acquisition of basic knowledge of layers structured e-communications systems, properties and calculation methods applicable on e-communications networks physical layer, access and backbone technologies, relevant protocols for voice and data services with special concentration on ITS applications.
