Synopsis:

Amplifiers - basic concepts. Feedback networks. Ideal operational amplifier - important networks. Practical operational amplifier - DC parameters, frequency response, transient response. DC voltage sources - rectifiers and voltage regulators. DC/DC voltage converters - charge pump, inverting, buck, boost. Non-linear and regenerative circuits - comparators, flip-flops, multivibrators, oscillators. Combinational logic functions and logic gates. Karnaugh maps, logic tables. Sequential logic circuits. Logic integrated circuits (IC) - basic parameters, input and output characteristics, logic circuit families. Semiconductor memories. Digital signal processing - sampling theorem, quantization, number representation. A/D and D/A converters.

1. Amplifiers - basic concepts. Feedback networks.

1. Revision of important topics from TEL subject.

2. Feedback networks, ideal operational amplifier.

3. Ideal operational amplifier II.

4. Ideal operational amplifier III.

5. Practical operational amplifier.

6. DC voltage sources - rectifiers and voltage regulators.

7. DC/DC voltage converters and constant current LED drivers.

8. Non-linear and regenerative circuits - comparators, flip-flops.

9. Multivibrators, oscillators.

10. Combinational logic functions, combinational and sequential circuits.

11. Student presentation of semestral work.

Study Objective:

The main aim is to show the following: basic selection of the elementary electronic circuits and functional blocks, properties of these circuits, when and how to satisfy supposed functions, what circuits can be applied well within the determined use, what modifications aren´t suitable, which and how it is suitable to connect partial circuits, how to validate function of the designed combination.
