Synopsis:

Process control with industrial control systems, programmable controllers, visualisation of technological process. Hierarchical control system, communication for industrial and process automation. Control systems design methods. Open software technologies, safety and reliability of control applications.

Requirements:

basic knowledge of control, basic software competencies, principles of communication networks

Study Objective:

Teach the principles of the design of industrial control applications, methods of control systems programming, principles and design of industrial communication. Provide the picture of the state of the art in various areas of industrial control, their basic characteristics, design and implementation methods.
