Synopsis:

The course focuses on the care of patients with the withdrawal / failure of vital functions and the specific and highly professional approach in the care of critically ill patients.

In the field of anesthesiology to the listener familiar with the basic procedures of both total and local anesthesia, the requirements for preoperative preparation, intraoperative and postoperative care and pain treatment options.

Requirements:

Knowledge of physiology, pathology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, nursing practice in emergency care and biophysics. Active participation in seminars.

Syllabus of lectures:

Characteristics, history and meaning of anesthesia. The patient and anesthesia, preoperative examination.

Associated diseases and complications, clinical assessment, selection procedures and methods of anesthesia.

Premedication its importance for the overall and local anesthesia.

General anesthesia - general anesthesia pharmacology and its techniques.

Technical conditions of general anesthesia, bioengineering devices used during anesthesia, the technology, patient monitoring during anesthesia.

Risks, complications, anesthesia sudden events mors in tabula.

Local anesthesia - local anesthesia, pharmacology, its opportunities, risks and complications.

Monitoring the patient during anesthesia and postoperative period - dospávací room, surgical ICU type.

Special procedures and anesthesia - abdominal surgery, urology, orthopedics, traumatology, obstetrics and gynecology.

Special anesthetic procedures II - thoracic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery.

Ambulatory anesthesia, anesthesia in the PNP. Pain.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Anesthetic technique for short - ambulatory anesthesia.

Anaesthesia techniques for surgical procedures performed in the operating room.

Monitoring equipment used in anesthesia.

Preparation techniques and tools to general anesthesia. Preparation techniques and tools for different types of local anesthesia.

The technique of anesthesia in the PNP.

Work on dospávacím room.

Work on the recovery room.

Study Objective:

To acquaint students with the care of patients with discarded on the basic features and specific and highly professional approach in the care of critically ill patients.

In the field of anesthesiology, students learn the basic procedures of both total and local anesthesia, the requirements for preoperative preparation, intraoperative and postoperative care and pain treatment options.
