- Synopsis:
-
The course aims to introduce students to essential skills for effective work on a personal computer, with an emphasis on practical application in both academic studies and future professional practice (particularly for radiological technicians, but also applicable in other fields).
The introductory part focuses on navigating information systems and resources available at CTU and FJFI. The main part of the course is dedicated to the efficient use of office software (word processor, spreadsheet, presentation software), with exercises primarily conducted in the MS 365/MS Office environment. Practical tasks support work on academic projects (practical training, bachelors, research, and diploma theses) and prepare students for applying these skills in professional settings (hospitals, public administration, companies).
Additional sections of the course provide a basic overview of computer hardware, software, and security, enabling students to gain a comprehensive understanding of working with modern information technologies.
