Synopsis:

Planning, as one of the attributes of thinking beings is known from the oldest historical epochs, Strategic management respresents techniques bringing ideas into the every-day life of organizations and make them work efficient, effctive and economy ways.

Requirements:

For successful passing the examination it is necessary to work out a seminar project, which is to be assessed in the last week of the term. The seminar project is completed in teams ascertained by lecturer.

The examination consists of written test, after its successful passing it is possible to continue in oral exam.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Management in entrepreneurship – Industry 4.0 philolosophy. The content of the Strategic management. Strategic management model.

2. Types of strategies used in strategic planning.

3. Strategy formulation. Mission statement, Vision statement, Strategic goals.

4. Entrepreneurial environment analysis. External environment – strategic management in globalization processes.

5. Entrepreneurial environment analysis. Internal environment. Contemporary access of the performance measurement.

6. Strategic analysis. Risk analysis. Scenario approach and response in strategy design.

7. Strategic plan construction.

8. Strategy implementation. Planning activities.

9. Investment strategies. Growth possibilities of entrepreneurial subjects.

10. Soft skills used in performance growth. The role of human capital in strategy implementation.

11. Communication during strategy implementation. Models for the support of the strategy implementation. Balanced Scorecard.

12. Strategy evaluation. Controlling.in strategic processes.

13. Strategic management in non-profit organizations.

14. Crisis management. Termination of entrepreneurial activities in organization.
