Safety systems are the most important systems in nuclear power plant according to nuclear safety. Recently, computer based systems are installed. The quality of software plays fundamental role in such safety systems. The course provides information about software requirements, life cycle, design, coding and configuration management methods. Furthermore, verification and validation methods are analysed.
