Synopsis:

This course develops students ability to understand spoken English, including lectures delivered in English, with confidence and minimal difficulty. It strengthens advanced written and oral communication skills, enabling students to participate actively in discussions and produce effective summaries, reports, and essays. Students will also enhance their ability to read and critically comprehend popular science and academic texts related to their field of study. Advanced grammar is integrated throughout the course. Recommended language proficiency: B1B2.

Requirements:

Students should have English language proficiency at the B1 level or higher. Progress is assessed through two written tests.

Study Objective:

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

- understand spoken English, including lectures delivered in English, with confidence and minimal difficulty;

- participate actively and effectively in discussions

- demonstrate advanced written and oral communication skills

- write well-structured summaries, reports, and essays

- read and critically comprehend popular science and academic texts related to their field of study

- apply advanced English grammar accurately in both spoken and written communication
