Anotace:

Tento kurz je určen pro každého, kdo se chystá psát svůj první článek nebo konferenční příspěvek a rád by využil příležitosti zlepšit si dovednosti odborného psaní. Kurz je rozdělen na dvě části.

První část: Pod vedením rodilého mluvčího se účastníci kurzu zaměří na základy akademického psaní s cílem zdokonalit své kritické psaní (uvažování, formulace nebo rozvíjení schopnosti argumentace a vysvětlení). Zvláštní pozornost bude také věnována technice, využití jazykových prostředků a stylu (gramatika apod.).

Druhá část: S pomocí externího vyučujícího nebo vyučujícího ČVUT budou účastníci obeznámeni s tím, jak na pozici výzkumného pracovníka organizovat a efektivně podávat výsledky svých vědeckých výzkumů. Účastníci budou poučeni o tom, jak svůj výzkum a dosavadní vědeckou práci prezentovat formou odborného článku, jak připravit materiály pro předložení k publikaci a také o procesu vzájemného hodnocení.

Cíle studia:

fundamentals of academic writing with the goal of sharpening critical writing skills (reasoning, formulating, and developing arguments and explanations). Special attention will also be paid to mechanics, usage, and style (grammar, etc).
