Synopsis:

The course is focused on the application of specialized software for design, modeling and monitoring in water supply and sewerage and drainage.

Requirements:

Exercise reports, written test

Syllabus of lectures:

Pumping technology in water management.

Measuring and control technology in water management.

Introduction to modeling and simulations.

Epanet - introduction, typical tasks - water supply.

Corrosion during the process of water treatment and distribution.

General drinking water - invited lecture.

Monitoring in water supply and balneology.

SWMM - introduction, typical tasks - urban drainage.

General drainage - invited lecture.

Monitoring in urban drainage.

ANSYS - introduction to 3D modeling.

Flow modeling in communal spa.

BIM application.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Pumping technology.

Analysis and promotion of uncertainties.

Epanet.

SWIMM.

Modeling in balneology.

Study Objective:

The aim of the study is to acquaint students with the application of monitoring, modeling and application of various software.
