Synopsis:

The subject Accidents and the environment is focused on the prevention and resolution of accidents with the release of hazardous substances into individual components of the environment. It familiarizes students with this issue and the procedures of the IZS components destined for interventions in hazardous substance accidents.

Requirements:

credit - attendance, elaboration and presentation of practical tasks assigned in the exercise

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Hazardous substances from the point of view of pre-designation of fire protection units for interventions in the territory of the Czech Republic

2. Tasks and position of IZS components destined for interventions in hazardous substance accidents. Fire protection units in the Czech Republic, distribution, equipment, predestination"

3. Identification of dangerous substances, documentation, TRINS, Kemler code, UN code, HAZCHEM, DIAMANT

4. Tasks of PO units during technical intervention or technological assistance, Act on PO Internal and external emergency plans in relation to the protection of the environment and protection against accidents"

5. and 6. Invited lecture Prevention of serious accidents

7. PTCH and TBP, use of values ​​in prevention and interventions, detection

8. Determining the amount of forces and resources of PO units for intervention in accidents Tactical and checking exercises of fire protection units. Possibilities of IZS components in preventing the spread of an accident, equipment "

9. Methods of disposal of NLCHS accidents

10. Protection of the personnel of the IZS components for accidents. Protection of equipment during an intervention in an oil accident. Fire extinguishers and sorbents in the equipment of fire protection units

11. Use of PBZ for disposal of NLCHS leaks and accidents

12. Calculations of the amount of water and foaming agent for interventions in hazardous substance accidents. Decontamination of personnel and equipment of fire protection units"

1. Comprehensive coverage of the territory of the Czech Republic, predestination of fire protection units - presentation, processing

2. Determining the amount of forces and resources of PO units for interventions in accidents - calculations

3. Invited lecture - Environmental impact assessment

4. Tactical and verification exercise of fire protection units - processing of the exercise

5. Calculations of the amount of water and foaming agent for interventions in hazardous substance accidents, examples

6. Excursion at HZS

Study Objective:

The aim of the subject is to acquaint listeners with environmental pollution caused by dangerous substances due to accidents and leakage of these substances into the environment, with methods how to solve these accidents and with methods of removal of these dangerous substances from the environment.
