Synopsis:

The course is focused on the principles applied in solving elements of urban engineering such as water supply, sewerage, gas, urban furniture, etc. and on swimming pools and spas.

Requirements:

Passing the subject VO2

Syllabus of lectures:

Introduction to urban engineering.

Procedures and priorities for coordination of solutions for technical service systems in urban areas and their practical application.

Saying usually conflicting relationships between elements of technical equipment of the territory and their essential surroundings (especially in the public space of cities and municipalities).

Trenchless technologies.

Objects of small architecture such as fountains, ornamental pools and water areas in the urban environment.

Urban furniture.

Principles of design and construction of swimming pools - urban indicator.

Material for the construction of swimming pools.

Water in swimming pools and spas and its care.

Water treatment technology.

Pump stations and pipes material.

Filtration and chemical management

The seminar part is focused on active professional discussion on assigned topics based on students' introductory papers.

Study Objective:

The aim of the study is to acquaint students with the basics of urban engineering and the design of swimming pool and spa facilities.
