The first qualification thesis - an independent professional work of the student, of a larger scope - completing the bachelor's degree of study. The defence of the bachelor thesis is one of the components of the state final examination.
- Requirements:

When registering for the summer semester, the student writes down the bachelor thesis under the code with the number of the selected department where the thesis will be processed (i.e. 127BAPZ). After selecting a supervisor for the bachelor thesis, the student will receive credit from the supervisor for professional practice (100ODPR), after which the opportunity to enrol the bachelor thesis will appear in KOS. The same procedure can be used in case of enrolment of the Bachelor thesis in the winter semester. In order to register for the Bachelor's thesis in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (K127), it is necessary to complete 127PZ01 Project 1 and 127PZ02 Project 2. Students working on their Bachelor's thesis at the Department of Urbanism and Spatial Planning (K127) choose the subject Urbanism and Spatial Planning, sponsored by K127, in addition to the compulsory subject of Landscape Design and Conservation, as part of the state final examination.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to verify the knowledge and skills acquired during the bachelor studies. The purpose of the bachelor's thesis is also to demonstrate the ability to work independently and to present the results in a standard, comprehensible and logically correct form.

Study materials depend on the topic of the bachelor thesis. Basic literature and sources are listed in the assignment of the bachelor thesis. Additional materials are recommended by the thesis supervisor during the consultation.
