Introduction to basic measurement methods of non-electrical quantities, procedures for conducting engineering experiments, evaluation and processing of data. Individual laboratory exercises and practical demonstrations of experimental techniques and procedures.

1.Motivational introduction, overview of physical quantities, organization of the experiment, safety, dimensional analysis
2.Accuracy of measurement, uncertainty, the comparison of experimental results and calculations, data acquisition, software for experiment control and data processing
3.Analog and digital signal processing, signal filtering

5.Sensors for measurement of non-electrical quantities, measurement of forces and deformations
