The aim of the course is to prepare for Certificate of Advanced English - the second highest level Cambridge ESOL exam. The course CAE3 covers unit 9 - 12. Studying for CAE helps you to improve your language skills (reading, writing English in use, listening and speaking) and use them in a wide range of contexts.

Use of English and Vocabulary: open cloze & expressions with brain and mind; Grammar: narrative tenses
Week 2 Reading the mind
Speaking: paraphrasing; Reading: gapped text; Listening: multiple matching
Week 3 Reading the mind Grammar: emphasis, Writing: email
Week 4 Things to come
Vocabulary and Use of English: past participles and prepositions & multiplechoice cloze; Grammar: future
Week 5 Things to come
Speaking: reaching a decision; Reading: multiple matching; Listening: sentence completion

Grammar: Conjunctions, Writing: formal letter
Week 7 A perfect match
Vocabulary and Grammar: expressions for describing compatibility & whoever, whatever, etc.; Reading: multiple choice;
