Acquisition of competences for the design of optical measurements typical for machine vision in industrial applications, including the strategy of correct lighting. Gaining an overview of the possibilities and limits of camera systems.

2. Imaging defects. Telecentric operation.
3. Camera - elements, resolution, types and properties of sensors.
4. Scheimpflug imaging, 3D scanning systems.
5. Imaging devices in industrial practice
6. Measurement arrangement, lighting, contrast.
7. Image processing - contrast, edge detection, image data representation, object identification.
