The subject introduces the reading of project and operational documentation of automation equipment during its gradual processing and commissioning. Special emphasis is placed on the creation of documentation for electrical equipment, issues of standardization in electrical engineering, the creation of electrical diagrams, marking in diagrams and products. Special materials for ASD, lists of inputs, outputs, creation of algorithms, selection of actuators, sensors and IO cards. Design of industrial network topologies, creation of hardware configuration and design of hardware tests. Significant attention is paid to the safety of electrical equipment.

Reading documents from a process engineer/technologist (PFD, P&ID, BFD)
Connecting typical control circuits and drawing them, designing sensors, actuators, IO cards
Reading and creating electrical diagrams and documentation
Distributed control systems and industrial communication networks, designing TCP/IP networks (ethernet, profinet, profibus)
Creating HW configurations, procedures for commissioning HW configurations and designing hardware tests
Ensuring the safety of machinery and production equipment, safety circuits
