This course is focused on preparing students for lesson planning prior to their teaching practicum.

Core documents necessary for lesson preparation in selected subjects (National Curriculum Framework, School Educational Programme, curriculum plans, syllabi, thematic plans, textbooks, and methodological guides)
Basic functions and stages of the teaching process
Development of a thematic (or time-based thematic) plan for a selected field of education
Preparation of a subject-specific plan by the student
Analysis of students submitted plans
Teacher preparation for the teaching process (individual lessons)
Vertical and horizontal coordination of curriculum content
Recommended steps for creating a detailed written plan for a combined-type lesson
Preparation of problem-based instruction
Samples and analysis of written lesson plans for several consecutive lessons
Development of detailed written lesson plans by students
Analysis of recorded model lessons from technical secondary schools

The aim of the course is to teach students how to navigate the process of lesson planning, to understand the purpose of each phase of instructional preparation, and to be able to independently create lesson plans for their teaching practice or microteaching sessions within the course Propaedeutics of Teaching Practice.
