The student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of secondary school chemistry knowledge and skills, with a particular emphasis on a teachers perspective on the subject matter. The student understands the interrelations between various topics, is familiar with the educational goals of individual themes as well as broader curricular units, and is able to apply this knowledge both in teaching and in the development of school educational programmes and thematic lesson plans. The student is well-versed in specific methods and forms of chemistry instruction and can appropriately apply them when preparing lessons, educational materials, and teaching specific learning objectives.
