Synopsis:

The course focuses on preparing students for lesson planning before they begin their teaching practice.

Requirements:

Processing class preparation + micro-presentation.

Syllabus of lectures:

Basic documents necessary for a teachers lesson preparation in selected subjects (Framework Educational Programme, School Educational Programme, curriculum, syllabus, thematic plan, textbooks, methodological guides)

Basic functions and stages of the teaching process

Creating a thematic (time-thematic) plan for a chosen field of education

Creating a plan by students for a selected subject

Analyses of the created plans

Teachers preparation for the teaching process (lessons)

Vertical and horizontal coordination of subject content

Recommended procedure for detailed written preparation for a combined lesson

Designing lesson plans for problem-based teaching

Examples and analyses of written preparations for several consecutive lessons

Students' creation of detailed written lesson plans

Analyses of sample lessons recorded in secondary technical schools

Study Objective:

The aim of the course is to teach students how to navigate the issues related to lesson planning for teachers, to understand the purpose of the individual phases of lesson preparation, and to be able to create their own lesson plans for teaching practice or for microteaching within the course Introduction to Teaching Practice.
