Synopsis:

The course guides students toward future applications of psychological theory in practical teaching activities. It facilitates the acquisition and development of specific skills, particularly in the area of personal development and understanding the personality traits of others. Furthermore, the course translates selected psychological knowledge necessary for understanding and guiding the educational process. This mainly concerns the characteristics and development of cognitive and emotional processes, the psychological traits of individuals, and their changes in individual developmental stages.

Requirements:

Credit - attendance: maximum 3 (4) absences, active work with Moodle (portfolio of tasks), written test

Exam - oral in person during the exam period. Resources: materials in Moodle, lectures, lecture notes, and required reading

Syllabus of lectures:

The lectures follow the „subject content“ in thirteen consecutive blocks.

Syllabus of tutorials:

The exercises follow the content of the lectures and apply them to the methodology of teaching the given topics, including micro-presentation practice.

Study Objective:

The aim of the study is to enable students to gain insight into the general principles of the human psyche and behavior, and to develop and improve their ability to understand the specifics of psychological thinking.
